The three main states of matter are solid, liquid and gas. The atoms in a solid are tightly stuck together. A car and a hammer are both examples of solids. The atoms in a liquid take the shape of it’s container and are loose but still together. Water is a liquid. The atoms in a gas move around freely and in different directions. Helium, oxygen and nitrogen are all gases. There is also gas inside a hot air balloon.

CAMP KAWAU !!!!!!!!
Last week on Tuesday the 15th of November 2016 I arrived at sandspit.
We had to go on a bus to get to sandspit Then we had to go on a ferry to get to Kawau Island. When I was on the ferry I was excited.
My favourite activity was bivouac building. You have to build a hut using sticks in the surroundings. There were these two trees falling down and I made a bed inside the bivouac. My dad tipped a bottle of water over our hut and water spilled in and the hut fell down.
When we went kayaking we didn’t go to Stingray Bay because the water was rough. We got to go bombing off the pontoon.
